Project Brief

Yukon Engineering was contracted for engineering services for the Whitehorse Airport 13R Runway Extension. This job entailed the 340 m extension of the runway and other improvements that included concrete turn button, installation of storm and sanitary mains, lighting upgrades, tower access road and blast pad. Work was completed in October of 1998. 

Scope of the Work

Yukon Engineering Services Inc. was responsible for the Construction Supervision and Management, Supervision of the Geotechnical QC services, Surveying and Quantity Calculations.  We were also accountable for providing the client with a Construction Completion Report detailing the Project.
